Hard to believe a hip, trendy venue is celebrating its second decade but with visionary entrepreneurs France Desfosses & Sheila McLaine at the helm it’s easy to acknowledge the staying-power of the perennial popular coffee shop in the courtyard of the Byward Market.

Last night the shop and courtyard were alive with celebration. DJ’s spun and revellers danced on cobblestones beneath lanterns. The dress-up photo-booth had a line-up from launch to closure. Food, champers and beer flowed throughout while the good, bad and beautiful came together for a night of convivial, heartfelt partying.
Ottawa’s top business women Desfosses and McLaine set a high-standard for independent coffee shops with healthy food, happening music, top java and nurturing unique and vibrant staff. Here’s to another 20 and beyond ladies!
